                                  LOUETTE

   Joseph and Henrietta Louette settled in Goodland, Indiana, in 
1880. Henrietta Krieg Louette was born in Severy Castle, Severy Vaud, 
Switzerland, July 5, 1855 and came to America in 1865.
   Joseph Louette was born in Rozieres, Haute Soane, France in 1844
and came to America in 1863. Joseph and Henrietta were married at
Assumption, Illinois in 1872. They had six children, four girls and
two boys: Eliza, Mary, Zelda, Odell, Arthur, and Frank. Frank is the
local Postmaster.
