Lake Co Obit Mary L. Pixley, daughter of Wm. and Ann Pixley, was born near Lowell, In, Jan 27.1867. She was Married to Palmer Edgerton, July 3,1887. Six children were born to this union: Myrtle Richardson, Alta Vinnedge, Stella Hover, Robert Edgerton, John Edgerton, Ray Edgerton. Ray Edgerton passed away in 1923. Mrs Edgerton was a devoted daughter and sister in her childhood home, and a self-sacrificing, tireless mother and wife in her home she chose to make. Many kind deeds to neighbors and friends and a sweet sunny disposition were virtues that were her's, and will never be forgotten by those who knew her. She quietly slipped away at the noon hour Dec.19,1925, at the age of 58 yrs. 10 mons. and 22 days. She leaves her husband, and 5 children, 3 sisters,3 brothers to mourn her loss. Furneral services were held at the Creston M.E. church monday at 2 p.m..Rev.C.A.Brown, pastor of the Lowell M.E. church conducted the funeral services. Interment was made at the Creston cemetery. Undertaker Sheets had charge of the service.
