CURTIS (KERTESZ), Louis Joseph -- Age 73 of Lake Station 
passed away Tuesday, September 25, 1984 at the Marion 
Veteran's Hospital (Marion, IN). A retired employee of 
Melvin Heating Company in Gary with 38 years service. 
Survivors:  wife, Irene; 3 sons:  Russell of San Pierre, 
Indiana; Keith Curtis of Lake Station; Kenneth Curtis of 
Lake Station.  2 daughters: Carroll (Richard) Douthitt of 
Valparaiso; Sharon (Ray) Lawson of Chesterton....Member of 
American Legion Post 454...veteran of W.W. II with the 
U.S. Army....Funeral service Saturday, Sept. 29, 1984 at 
11 a.m. from the Rees Funeral Home (Hobart).  Rev. Gerald 
H. Schweitzer officating.
