Lake Co., IN Obit Irvin Thompson IRVIN JAMES THOMPSON, 87, a retired station agent with the Wabash Railroad in Indiana, died Dec. 1,1965, at his home 234 1/2 N. Center St. Mesa, Ariz. Services will be held Thursday at 8pm by the Masonic Lodge No. 20 F & AM in the Garden Chapel of M. L. Gibbons Mortuary and 2pm Friday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church with REV. HAROLD S. KNIGHT officiating. Burial will follow in the Mesa Ariz. Cemetery. THOMPSON served for 40 years with the railroad and retired in 1943. He was born Sept. 26, 1878, in Lowell, Ind. He was a past member of the Masonic Transitville Lodge No. 425 of Buck Creek, Ind. for 60 years, a charter member and past patron of the Buck Creek Chapter No., 374, Order of the Eastern Star and a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Mesa. Friends may call at the mortuary 4-8pm tomorrow. Donations are requested to be sent to the American Cancer Society. Survivors include a granddaughter MRS. MARY V. PHELPS; a great-grandson, JAMES PHELPS; and a great-granddaughter SUZANNE PHELPS, all of Indianapolis, Ind. A son, MAXWELL J.
