Hilda C. Heins, age 84 of 4304 Grover Avenue, Hammond, Indiana, 
passed away Saturday, March 1, at St. Catherine Hospital. 
Survivors; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Langle Kollen of Hammond; 
eight grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 6 great great 
grandchildren; one brother Emil Hanson of Avon Park, FL.; one 
nephew. Funeral services will be held Tue. March 4, 1 p.m. 
from the Christ United Methodist Church, 6511 Jefferson Ave., 
Hammond, Rev. J.O. Penrod and Rev. William Myers II officiating.  
Burial, Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends may call Monday 2-5 
and 7-10 p.m. at the Snyder-LaHayne Funeral Home, Holman Ave., at 
Warren St., Hammond. She will be removed to the church at 10:30 
a.m. Tuesday morning. A resident of Hammond for 52 yrs. Member 
of the Christ United Methodist Church of Hammond. Member of the 
Women's society of Christian Services. Died Saturday, March 1, 
1969.
