Lake County, Indiana [Obituary on file on Lowell Library, no name of periodical or date but Henry Baughman died 5 Jul 1947 according to his Lake Prairie tombstone inscription] Henry Baughman Dies suddenly Saturday Henry L. Baughman, 78, passed away very suddenly following a major operation at the Michael Reese hospital in Chicago last Saturday. He had gone to the hospital on Friday and came through the operation very nicely, but grew worse in a short time. A life-long resident here he was known to a large number of south county residents. When a young man he conducted a caol and draying business for a number of years, selling the business to the Wilbur Lumber Co. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Paul Macy, of Chicago. Funeral services conducted by Rev. V.B. Servies, of Kentland, former pastor of the Methodist church here, were held at the First Methodist church Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Masonic services, in charge of Colfax Ledge, 378, of which he had been a member for many years were held. Interment, in charge of W.R.
