Lake Co., IN Obit (from a newspaper dated April 4-,1964) Fred E. Ebert Funeral Services Conducted April 2 Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m.. at Sheets Funeral Home for Fred E. Ebert, who passed away April 2 at seventy-five years of age. Survivors include his son, Carlton; nine grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; three brothers, Joe and Frank Ebert of Thonotosassa, Florida and Lester Ebert of Zolpho, Florida. Ebert was a member of the Lowell Methodist Church and a charter member of Indian Trail Grange, The Order of Odd Fellows Lodge in Crown Point, and a member of the Masonic Order in Lowell. Fred. E. Ebert was the son of Fred Sr. and Areila Ebert. He was born July 24, 1889 on the old home farm located on the Shelby road in Lake County. In 1914 he married Tossie M. Brownell. They became the parents of three children, Beatrice, who became the wife of Tom Folsom, and Stella Marion, the wife of Kenneth Hamilton, preceded their father in death. Mrs. Ebert died in 1960. Conducting the funeral services held Monday was the Reverend E. L. Worley.
