Lake County IN, Obit The Lake County Times East Chicago/Indiana Harbor, IN Wednesday, June 16, 1926 page 6, col. 3 Aged Harbor Resident, 70, Buried Tomorrow Thomas Chizmar, 70, a resident of Indiana Harbor for twenty years, who passed away Sunday midnight at his home, 3736 Elm street, will be buried tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from the Slovak Lutheran church. Death was due to a paralytic stroke which he suffered ten months age; he had been ailing for some time. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary Kuric, Mrs. Clara Kolina, Mrs. Emma Wittig and Miss Anna Chizmar; and four sons, John Thomas, Andrew and George Chizmar, and thirteen-grandchildren. Services at the church will be conducted by Rev. John S. Bradac, of Whiting, assisted by Rev. John Vajda, of Indiana Harbor.
