                           CHERNOTA, EMMA
Chernota, Emma - age 93, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, 
November 28, 1981, at the Lake County Convalescent Home, 
Crown Point.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 1, 9:30 a.m. 
at the Baren Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, 10 a.m. 
Mass at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Whiting; 
with the Rev. Edward Homco officiating.  Interment, St. John 
Cemetery, Hammond.  Friends may call at the Chapel, Monday 7 
to 10 p.m.  Members of the Parish will offer Prayers at the 
Chapel, Monday 7:30 p.m.
She was a lifelong resident of Whiting.
