Aaron D, Thomas, age 65, 7624 Oakdale Ave, Hammond, passed away 
Tuesday, May 5, at St. Margaret Hospital. Survivors: wife, Pearl; 
two sons, Robert (Joy) Thomas of Lake Village, Keneth (Rosemary) 
Thomas of Hammond; three daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Frances)Eichensehr 
of Griffith, Mrs. George (Donna Jean) Heinz of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. 
William (Phyllis) Dixon of Naperville, Ill., 20 grandchildren; 4 
great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Billy Cowgill of East Chicago. 
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, from Clarence 
J. Huber Funeral Home, 722 165th St., Hammond. Rev. S. Rolston 
officiating. Burial Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 
7 to 70 p.m., Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. In lieu of flowers, 
donations will be accepted to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled 
Children. He was a resident of Hammond for 40 years, owner of Mottle 
Cleaners, member of Hammond Elks, member of Garfield Lodge 569, F. 
and A.M., South Bend Consistory, Orak Temple, AAONMS, and the Low 
Twelve.
