ANDREW JACKSON CHILDERS

Andrew Jackson Childers 83, of 128 Burham Street, died Friday at the 
Great Oaks Nursing Home at Cook. He is survived by four sons Harold of
Chicago, John of Phoenix, Arizona, Jack of Fair Oaks, Indiana, and Robert 
of Lowell. Andrew is also, survived by seven daughters, Evelyn Gassaway 
of Hammond, Margie Monet of Phoenix, Arizona, Roma Buche, Persis Hagle
of Shelby, Adeline Menefee of Lowell, Betty Shalapski of Hobart, and 
Louise Kirchenstien of Belshaw. Fifty grandchildren and seventy-six great
grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. monday at the Sheets Funeral 
Home, with Rev. E.L. Worley officating. Burial followed at the Lowell Cem.
