Lake Co Wedding Anniversary

WERE MARRIED 60 YEARS AGO       

MR. AND MRS. LEROY HAYDEN CELEBRATE EVENT LAST SUNDAY

Sunday, February 23rd, occurred the 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and 
Mrs. Leroy Hayden.  They were both born in West Creek township and have 
lived there all their lives except for three years spent in South Dakota.  
Mrs. Hayden is 82 and Mr. Hayden 83 years of age.  He has always voted 
the Republican ticket, casting his first vote at lake Prarie for President  
Garfield in 1881.

They have three children, Mrs. Bert C. Hayden of Lowell, and Arthur and 
Murray of West Creek township; one grandson, Sherrill Hayden of 
Princeville, Ill.

Several relatives and neighbors called their home on Route 41 last 
Sunday PM. to offer congratulations and good wishes.  The four Bailey 
sister, namely, Mary Glenn, Jewell, Margaret and Barbara sang several 
vocal selections in a very pleasing manner.  Refreshment of ice cream 
and cake were served.

After taking several snapshots of the group, all departed for home, 
wishing Mr. and Mrs.Hayden many more years of happy wedded life.
